UAB Windfarm Akmenė One / Akmenė Two is developing and constructing a wind energy farm and the supplementary infrastructure with a total capacity of 400 MW.

The two sections of the project, Windfarm Akmenė One and Windfarm Akmenė Two, are located near Akmenė, a city in the Siauliai County in northern Lithuania, around 20 km south of the Latvian border and around 280 km northwest of the country’s capital, Vilnius.

The construction and commissioning of the windfarm support the targets of the Lithuanian government to strengthen the domestic energy production and to decrease the dependency on energy imports.

Moreover, UAB Windfarm Akmenė One / Akmenė Two accelerates the expansion of renewables and strongly contributes to the achievements of Lithuania´s national and EU energy objectives.
